Day 01

Airport to Negombo

Welcome on arrival and transfer to hotel in Negombo Check in at the hotel Optional: Enjoy authentic sea food experience in Negombo, leisure at the hotel

Day 02

Negombo to the Cultural Triangle

Breakfast in hotel, thereafter leave for Ritigala

Optional: Embark on a 02 hour tour to discover an ancient monastery

“Located in the Anuradhapura District, deep within the thickness of the Ritigala Nature Reserve is the extensive, monastic Ritigala cave complex. The site comprises of some 70 caves, the ruins of the monastery lie atop the 766m hill that beholds a scenic view of the dry terrains that surround it. The architecture and the cave complex itself bear a certain mysterious nature owing to the long meditational pathways that open into the thick jungle and large stone-lined reservoirs.” Later proceed to hotel in Dambulla / SIgiriya Arrive and check in at hotel

Day 03

Minneriya National Park

After breakfast, we explore the rural village of Hiriwaduna.

Optional: Late afternoon embark on a jeep safari to Minneriya National Park. Return to hotel and spend the evening at leisure

Day 04

Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa

After breakfast, we climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Later visit the remains of the former capital city of Polonnaruwa.

Day 05

The Cultural Triangle to Kandy

Breakfast in the hotel. Thereafter leave for Kandy visiting Dambulla Cave Temple and a Spice Garden en route

Day 06

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens to see an amazing variety of trees, plants & flowers. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, en route pay a visit to tea plantation and a factory to see the manufacturing process Upon your arrival do a sightseeing tour in Nuwara Eliya town and walk around Lake Gregory

Dubbed the “Little England of Sri Lanka”, Nuwara Eliya is located in the thick, misty hills
of this paradise isle, 180 km away from Colombo. Proceed and check in at hotel

Day 07

Nuwara Eliya to Horton Plains National park

Early morning, we embark on an adventure to Horton Plains with a packed breakfast

Day 08

Nuwara Eliya to Tissamaharama (Yala)

Breakfast in hotel & leave for Tissamaharama (Yala) En route we visit Ella “Ella”, which literally translates into ‘waterfall’ is a name fit for this little town located in a hilly nook, owing to its stunning vistas richly adorned with cascades that trickle down its rugged terrains. Thereafter proceed to Yala. Check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure

Day 09

Tissamaharama (Yala)

Breakfast in hotel & leave for Bundala National Park to see the birdlife.

Day 10

Tissamaharama (Yala) to Udawalawe National Park

Breakfast in hotel and leave for Udawalawe to see wild elephants

Day 11

Udawalawe National Park to Sinharaja

Breakfast in hotel and thereafter leave for Sinharaja forest. En route visit the Elephant Transit Home which looks after orphan elephants.

“If you are a wildlife enthusiast, the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe run by the Born Free Foundation is definitely a must-visit. Located about 5 km away from the Udawalawe National Park, it is a halfway house that cares for wounded adult elephants and orphaned, baby elephants. 

Check in to the hotel & relax. Thereafter leave for set off on a guided trek into the rainforest to discover a variety of flora and fauna of this lush area.  “Dense, dark and mysterious – the Sinharaja is a picturesque rainforest ideal for meditation, relaxation and scientific exploration. Located at the heart of the island’s wet-zone, it is the last standing rainforest within Sri Lanka”. Return to hotel in the evening & relax

Day 12

Sinharaja to Galle

After having breakfast in hotel leave for Galle. Check in at the hotel & Leisure

Day 13

Galle to Bentota 

After breakfast, leave for Galle Fort & enjoy a walking tour. Afterwards we head north to Bentota. En route stop at a turtle hatchery where local fishermen help to protect turtles from extinction. Check in at the hotel & relax

Day 14

Bentota

Breakfast in the hotel. All day at leisure by the beach.

Optional: Do the Maadu River boat safari / Water sports. Return to hotel.

Day 15

Bentota to Airport

After breakfast, leave for Colombo – Sri Lanka’s commercial capital En route visit Colombo city and do some sightseeing and some last minute shopping.

Proceed and drop off at BIA for departure
